La talentuosa " Laura Pausini Project Tribute Band " è composta da otto musicisti professionisti che suonano esclusivamente dal vivo, senza bisogno di basi o altri ausili elettronici, è nata con l'intento di omaggiare una grandissima artista che porta in alto la bandiera della musica italiana nel mondo.
Il progetto nasce nel 2010 da una Idea della cantante Elena e la sua Band proponendo fedelmente lo spettacolo musicale e scenografico del world tour 2009. Elena, con precisione e naturalezza ripropone le tappe piu' significative della storia musicale della Pausini dagli esordi ad oggi accompagnandole con la somiglianza ricercata nella scena ,le movenze sul palco e il modo di incitare il pubblico.
La dolcezza fa da padrona in tutte le canzoni , la voce è suadente e melodica, il viso tirato e contratto per arrivare alle note più alte lascia comunque trasparire tutta la gioia per quel grande pubblico, accorso per lei e la sua Band.
Notevole lavoro è stato dedicato alla creazione dei costumi usati nei concerti della star .Uno spettacolo curato dove nulla è lasciato al caso vi farà rivivere le emozioni di un vero concerto live della grande Laura, carico di energia con una qualità artistica di alto livello, Il tutto supportato da un numeroso staff.

The talented "Laura Pausini Tribute Band Project" consists of eight professional musicians who play exclusively live without bases or other electronic aids, was created with the intention to pay homage to a great artist that brings up the flag of Italian music in the world.
The project started in 2010 by an idea of the singer and his band Elena faithfully offering the musical and dramatic world tour of 2009. Elena, accurately and naturally repeats the steps most 'significant musical history from the beginnings of Pausini now accompanying them with the similarity found in the scene, the movements on stage and the way to incite the public.
The sweetness is the host in all the songs, the voice is mellow and melodic, his face and pulled the contract to reach the highest notes still leaves shine all the joy that the general public, who rushed to her and her Band.
Considerable work has been devoted to the creation of the costumes used in the concerts of the star. Curated a show where nothing is left to chance will make you relive the excitement of a real live concert of the great Laura, full of energy with a high level of artistic quality, the all supported by a large staff.

La formazione ripropone fedelmente lo spettacolo musicale e scenografico del World Tour 2009 ed è particolarmente attenta al look e alla presentazione dei brani con arrangiamenti originali ed ha ricevuto da subito notevoli consensi da parte del pubblico in manifestazioni, eventi di piazza, teatri e locali live. The band is followed by a large staff that takes care of clothing in retail, marketing, printing, advertising and sponsorships, help stage and screen.
Training faithfully reproduces the musical and dramatic World Tour 2009 and pays particular attention to the look and presentation of songs with original arrangements and has now received considerable support from the public events, street events, theaters and live. Elena, with precision and ease once again the most significant milestones in the history of music from the beginning to today Pausini accompanying them with the similarity found in the scene, the movements on stage and the way to incite the public.

Paul Vinitsky is the unique artist, well known Russian DJ, producer & singer in progressive house, trance & tech trance scene. He’s founder of Moscow-based label 'Vendace Records' (since 2010). Just for several years he becomes one of the most known EDM artists from Russia. 4 years in a row he's ranked in top100 Russian DJ's.

In end of 2011 Paul released his debut album 'Invincible' recorded with the worldwide known singers, such as Lo-Fi Sugar, Kate Walsh, Lizzie Curious, Khashassi and other talented artists. It contains 14 vocal tracks in trance & progressive house. In this album Paul presents his unique 'Singing Dj' project and live show as well. Paul composes music and lyrics, arranges, produces and performs live his own tracks on the stage! Can you imagine the storming DJ behind the decks and in the moment he’s singing live on the stage?!

For keyboardist, composer, arranger, producer Laurie Z., music was about moving people to dance, to feel, to rejoice, and to laugh. “Each song has an emotional statement to make,” she often said.

Classically trained from the age of 4, Laurie’s ability to gracefully mix classical, modern jazz and contemporary instrumental styles has been called “absolutely amazing” by prominent music critics and fans alike. Laurie’s music is played by major Satellite radio networks and has been heard over the airwaves on hundreds of radio stations around the world.

Roots was considered for eight Grammy nominations. Roots, The Solo Piano Songbook was created after many fans requested copies of the sheet music. Life Between The Lines was named "New Age Album of the Year" by Scott Brodie of CHRW 94.7 FM, Canada. Heart of the Holidays breaks new artistic ground with creative new interpretations of holiday standards and two original compositions by Laurie Z. Vocals on Heart of the Holidays by husband Michael Carter, Guy Tanner and The Heart Choir, are warm and uplifting, and special guest, actor Jack Palance, adds a delightful playfulness to the recording which is steadily growing as a holiday favorite among many. The Heart’s Journey, a relaxation program presented by hypnotherapist Ron Stubbs, with music composed and performed by Laurie Z., was considered for seven Grammy nominations.

Before embarking on a solo career and forming her own band, Laurie performed in jazz and rock bands. Laurie was considered by many to be a “trailblazer” as one of the first female musicians to familiarize herself with MIDI. She recorded for Malcolm Cecil - inventor of the unique TONTO synthesizer - who had a company, EMPH Inc., "Electronic Music Publishing House." EMPH, Inc. released the very first MIDI recording and playback software (MIDIPLAY) for the now obsolete Atari 1040 computer. Laurie was involved in recording MIDI versions of songs for that program which were sold as "Musidiscs.". Laurie was one of several musicians employed along with the late Nicky Hopkins. Only three Musidiscs were ever released - Beatles songs, Christmas music and some Grammy winning songs from 1986, and Laurie Z. recorded on all of them.

Laurie's love for popular music profoundly influenced her stylistic development and Laurie was well-known for her masterful in-concert improvisational compositions and Laurie Z. concerts were frequently mentioned as a ‘Top Pick’ in the Los Angeles Times. Her concert performances often included audience participation where she would ask for a subject idea and musical key from the audience from which she would improvise a song. "Roots - The Solo Piano Album," for which Laurie received 8 Grammy nomination considerations, was recorded live and to Disklavier, without edits or overdubs. Half of the songs on the "Roots" album were improvised during the live recording sessions.

Children and adults alike happily gathered around Disneyland’s stage at Tomorrowland to enjoy Laurie when she performed with the group ‘Voyager.’ Many were able to enjoy listening to Laurie Z. at Nordstrom stores where she performed regularly and her concerts with her “Z” band around the South Bay, at the South Bay Galleria, at Borders Bookstores, and as regular performers at First Night were always well attended. Laurie also played organ for the Mighty Ducks inaugural season and will always be fondly remembered by many as ‘The Peterbilt Girl,’ performing nationally for more than a decade for Peterbilt Motors Company. Laurie played national tours for Alesis and Yamaha and represented Roland and Kawai products. She opened for top instrumentalists like Herbie Hancock, Leo Kottke and Tim Wesiburg. Dolby Labs confirmed the audiophile quality of her recordings by licensing their use and shipping them along with the Dolby Surround Sound unit used by movie theatres and studios nationwide. Laurie was featured in Keyboard magazine’s “Independent Success Stories” and her own seminars, designed to unselfishly help other Independents, were always to standing room only crowds. And when Laurie and husband Michael Carter moved to Camano Island, Washington, to be closer to family, their strong sense of community provided another avenue for Laurie to not only share her music with the world, but to help raise funds for charities like Housing Hope.

Composing since the age of sixteen, Laurie’s education and experience went well beyond the bounds of classical music. With influences as diverse as Mozart, Beethoven, Elton John, Bruce Hornsby, the Beatles, and Alan Parsons, Laurie created and performed memorable melodies in her compositions. Laurie once said, “There has to be something that you remember when you turn the radio off.” And there is.

I have to make music to be happy. It has nothing to do with fame or fortune. My sound is a Rockin' Country style with a sprinkle of Bluegrass. My songs are about life, love, and family.

I sing, play guitar, drums, bass, piano, and a few other instruments. I write my songs, produce my music, and play the instruments on my recordings. There is nothing more satisfying to me than writing a song and hearing it come to life in the recording studio. I give allot of my music away for free because I want to share it with people. I hope you like it and will come to see me perform.

When I am not making music I enjoy working out, water sports on the lake, and spending time with my family and friends. No matter what I am doing I look at my life as a journey. I'm trying to focus more on the journey and not so much my destination. So nothing will stop me from enjoying this ride and I'm going to have the time of my life! I will take chances, be a better friend, be a better lover, be a better son, and the list goes on! I challenge you to live this way and remember it's about your journey not your destination. Born in Bogotá, Colombia in May 1995, Santiago Cañon Valencia has always been surrounded by music. His father, Ricardo Cañon, is a clarinetist with the Bogotá Philharmonic, and his mother, Rocío Valencia, studied the cello. His older sister, Natalia, is a violinist, and several other relatives are musicians. Santiago began studying cello at age four under the supervision of his mother and continued his formal studies for the next eight years with the Polish cellist Maestro Henryk Zarzycki. Under Maestro Zarzycki's instruction, Santiago began to perform and enter cello competitions in Colombia from the age of five. He entered his first international contest, the V Carlos Prieto International Cello Competition in Morelia, Mexico, in August 2006, where, at the age of eleven, he was awarded the Elizabeth Parisot Prize for Promising Young Cellist. As a result of his performance there and his participation in the competitions master classes, Maestro Prieto took a special interest in Santiago and recommended him to his friend, Yo-Yo Ma. Therefore, when Yo-Yo Ma visited Bogotá in June 2007, Santiago had the opportunity to meet privately with the great cellist, play for him, and even receive individual instruction from him. Since Maestro Zarzycki left Bogotá to return to his native Poland in March 2007, Santiago has been without a permanent teacher. He studied in New Zealand with cellist James Tennant from September through December 2007, where he had the opportunity to give several recitals with the pianist Katherine Austin and to perform Haydn's Cello Concerto in D Major with the Chamber Orchestra of the University of Waikato. As a result of his success there, the University of Waikato invited Santiago to return to New Zealand, where he studied again with James Tennant from July through December 2008.
In January of 2009, he was invited as "Young Talent" to perform at the III Cartagena International Music Festival.
He has played as a soloist with Bogotá´s Philharmonic Orchestra, Medellín´s Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of Waikato´s University (New Zealand), Symphonic of Tolima´s University and National Symphonic Orchestra of Colombia and in February of 2010, he was invited to play the Shostakovich cello concerto # 1 with Bogotá´s Philharmonic Orchestra with the conductor Lior Shambadal.
Currently, he is studying with James Tennant at the University of Waikato in the elite "Soloist Stream" for Bachelor of Music in Performance.
Recently, he played two times the Shostakovich Cello Concerto # 1 with the Hang Zhou Philharmonic Orchestra with the conductor Yang Yang at the III Beijing International Music Cello Competition 2010. Beijing Concert Hall, 29 & 30 of October 2010.

Known for their high-energy, driving rock music, Outer Sanctum is a Christian band based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Guitar-driven with face-melting rock, their sound has been compared to that of RED, Breaking Benjamin, and Decyfer Down.

The group was formed in 2008 with a very specific goal – to make a positive difference in the world through a genre of music all too often laced with negative and even destructive connotations. Armed with soul-stirring lyrics, Outer Sanctum encourages audiences with “You’re worth so much more than you could ever know,” rallies them to “Put your hands up to the King of Eternity!” and questions “If we’re not one nation under God, then under what?”

Targeting Christians and non-Christians alike, Outer Sanctum’s desire is to reach beyond the walls of the church into the secular world. “Our sole purpose is to take the positive message of genuine love, salvation, and true freedom offered only through the blood of Christ to those on the outside.”

Gli Avekey nascono nel 2011 a Roma dallo scioglimento dei dr. Hyde e sono composti da Mauro (voce) Alberto (batteria) Fabio(chitarra) e Daniele (basso).

Il gruppo decide di adottare il nome Avekey dopo anni di esperienze live nei palchi della capitale e non, dopo varie esperienze in studi di registrazione e la pubblicazione di un EP.
Dopo la decisione di Mauro di produrre un disco con i nuovi brani, da lui composti, e con un sapiente riarrangiamento dei vecchi cavalli di battaglia dei dr. Hyde , il gruppo inizia
una collaborazione con Flavio Fanasca presso i Sound Village studio di Roma, qui li attende un nuovo cambiamento nello stile arrangiamentale dei brani e nei suoni grazie alla direzione artistica di Flavio.

La musica degli Avekey si colloca fra il rock pop con delle chiare venature alternative.

Con la sinergia nella produzione tra Mauro e Flavio si arriva finalmente al primo disco titolato "Hidden place" , il posto nascosto, il disco è un connubio tra il rock più duro suonato fino ad allora dalla band, le melodie più vicine al pop scritte da Mauro e gli arricchimenti nell'arrangiamento di Flavio, che danno a tutto un sapore più alternative.

Hidden place è costituito da 8 tracce, una fusione fra le composizioni di Mauro e la creatività negli arrangiamenti e nei suoni di Flavio,il disco esce nel settembre 2011.

Con "Hidden place" gli Avekey riuniscono anni di esperienze, emozioni e vita.. un posto nascosto in cui ora vi lasceranno entrare...

Guitarist, singer, songwriter, Duncan McKenzie has been described as one of the finest acoustic guitarists on the circuit today. For some years he played in a duo with guitar legend Big Jim Sullivan and more recently went on to pursue his career as a solo performer. He also has his own band consisting of internationally acclaimed musicians listed on the news page. In former years Duncan made a name as a versatile session musician playing in major studios including the famous Abbey Road.

He secured a major recording deal with EMI and went on to write for radio, television and films including the Song " To All Of You Out There" taken on by Radio Luxembourg to close the show every night for eight years! I am a composer and studio engineer that has a love for film and the creative processes involved. I compose as well as enjoy listening to music of a lot of genres. Music in a film to me is not some showcase for the composer but it is a contributing factor in conveying the mood and telling the story. Luiz Santos was born in the USA and grew up in a musical household. Both of his Brazilian parents were passionate for music and inspired in Luiz a love for different rhythms. When he started playing drums at the age of 9, Luiz demonstrated talent well beyond his years.
While living in Rio De Janeiro, at age of 13, he started playing professionally with older musicians exploring various musical styles. Having developed his own capacity for variety, Luiz started performing with Eduardo Duzek all over Brazil, performing and recording television series for ‘Globo Network playing drums and piano.

"Tears of Nanjing" is my composition and arrangements for the piano, violin and cello trio. The original composition was piano solo, piano and violin duet called: 'Misery'.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Reg Quiring for his very amiable support, suggestions and advice throughout the rehearsal for the "Tears of Nanjing". He is a great teacher and violin/viola player. Also, I want to thank Zoltan Rozsnyai for playing cello. He is indeed a wonderful cello player. I am very proud to know him and work with him.

On December 13,1937 Japanese army occupied Nanjing in China. For six weeks of occupation, the Japanese army committed numerous atrocities, including rape, arson and mass executions and systematically murdering 300,000 innocent Chinese civilians and disarmed soldiers. "Tears of Nanjing" is dedicated to the great Chinese people. it is in the memory of Nanjing massacre. May the souls of innocent victims remain in peace.

Basically I am a simple person - but I love everything that electronic music has to offer. This I can attribute to the music I compose and listen as you can get a good music experience. I hope you can follow my thoughts - since you have found my way to my music, I hope the music speaks to you and maybe take you further into the electronic music. In my own work to compose music, I am inspired by the ancient Vikings and New Age music, my music is very much like to reflect a more relaxing experience for you as a listener and the nature of electronic music. Viking Age has always fascinated me, I have traveled throughout Scandinavia and experienced the places where the Vikings had their movements and has left me inspired, by their beautiful surroundings. I reproduce here in my version of how the Vikings could also be neat and nice people.

I have since my youth back in 1977-78 always listened to electronic music, my first encounter with music was Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream and Vangelis - I bought all their vinyl records the time and swam into a dream universe, it was strong stuff for a teenager who had a different taste in music at the time, that taste I know today that I shared with very many others. Today I am still fascinated by their works. Throughout the 1980s, I was very attracted to New Age music that has been my heart since then.

It all started when I was 12 years old, my dad bought me my first guitar. It had one string, but I was thrilled to death. I knew I wanted to be in a band and I was determined to do whatever it took to learn how to play. I played my first gig in high school as a freshman, with my brother and friends. After that, I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. When I graduated from high school I joined my first real professional band and actually got paid to play. After that, I joined several other top 40 bands, knowing my real passion was in heavy metal 80’s hair bands. At that time, Motley Crew, Poison, Ratt, and so on were the big stars. My brother and I started a band called Leather Toys and Bad Gypsy that had a pretty successful run in the 80’s. Then once Nirvana came out, we were done. In all my years of playing I never thought I would give up on my dream. I was tired and burnt out of playing music. Selling all my guitars and playing my last gig in 1995, I came to a dead end.

14 years later, my son Justin asked me if I could help him learn some songs from Guitar Hero on the guitar. I wasn’t thrilled about it at first, but of course I was going to help my son. One thing led to another and I started picking up my guitar more and more everyday. I started writing music again, but this time it had a twist to it. As years went by and I grew older, my taste in music had changed. I still love rock, but I found myself playing easy listening, smooth jazz, Latin, and other types of music coming from within my soul. One year later, I’m ready to drop my first solo CD entitled “Listen”. And I’m finding my love for music all over again.

My name is Jeann. Thank you for listening my singing, it means a lot to me. I am a self-taught singer and songwriter, presently also learning to play the piano. I am originally from the Philippines, I started my singing at the age of 14; I participated in many local singing contests at Festivals and won most of them. This really broke my fear of singing in front of an audience. Through these years, I realized singing was not just a hobby, but a passion.

Jan Mulder (Orlando, Florida) was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He studied piano, organ as well as composition at the Rotterdam and Utrecht Conservatories. Since graduating in 1992, Jan Mulder composes music for his solo albums and concerts on a daily basis. His piano solo albums, recorded with the Symphony Orchestras in London and Moscow, can be heard daily on Classic FM in the Netherlands, Great Britain and South Africa.

Jan Mulder performs in Paris, London, Amsterdam, Moscow, Brussels, Bern, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, New York, Orlando, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, Atlanta and countless other cultural cities. Jan and Elise Mulder have three sons; Matthew, Simeon and Gabriel who as a six handed piano trio can be heard and seen on the DVD “Jan Mulder in Concert”. At one point in his life, Jan donated bone marrow to rescue his sister, Marieke, who suffered from Kahler disease, a serious form of cancer. Unfortunately, she passed away after a few months. I’ve found that I’ve spent most of my life immersed in just about every aspect of music; writing music, performing music live, teaching music, recording music, running live sound for music performance. Simply put, music is who I am.
When I first enrolled at Berkley College of Music in Boston, I was determined to become a Music Production Engineer. But in time, I found my true passion, writing songs. I wanted to communicate my feelings and ideas, and to really connect with people – must be the oxytocin. Songs have a way of bringing people together by sharing ideas and emotions that are universal, but that everyone experiences differently.
When changed my major to Songwriting I decided to add Film Scoring as a second major, in the hopes that the skills that I would learn in my Film Scoring courses would benefit my songwriting. The techniques I’ve learned from scoring to picture as well as the tools I’ve gained from studying traditional and contemporary composition have proved to be invaluable to my writing.
I usually write the music first on the guitar. I hear the melody and lyrics in my mind and then I write the rest of the story from that idea or emotion. The music and melody come easily but the lyrics are often a challenge. I usually know what I want to say, the hard part is getting the words out with the rhythm, phrasing, and rhyme. I’m always looking for a strong lyricist that I can learn from. ;)
In March 2010 I released my first EP featuring five songs recorded in Berklee’s studios. I wrote, arranged, and mixed/mastered the tracks myself. For just five songs it took a tremendous amount of time and effort which proved to be a great learning experience. Since then I’ve arranged my songs and many covers for the band, and I’m preparing to return to the studio to record my second EP.
I love performing music live. I play gigs around Boston with my band as well as a number of solo gigs. I’ve posted videos of my gigs on YouTube and MySpace. I’m working on developing my stage presence and character to really help convey the emotion of the songs.
I’ve been involved with live music since I was young. At Church I would sit at the sound board watching and listening. I worked for a live sound company for a few summers, setting up and running the sound equipment for local fairs and events.
I believe a crucial step in learning a craft is to teach it to others. I work with teenagers in a local program called Plugged In. We put together bands, write original music, and perform concerts to benefit local charities I have participated as a teacher in the last two Songwriting Workshops. These are special weekends where we focus on writing original songs to put on a benefit CD. The results are wonderful!

Zora’s music is a blend of vocal artistry and electronic fervor, encompassing multiple genres to express the myriad of emotions she experiences. Upon hearing some of her happier, carefree dance tunes, most wouldn’t think to assume that she came from humble beginnings; having to face life’s hurdles and unpredictability early on. But despite her jovial demeanor and catchy pop tunes, she has had her share of struggles, as revealed in her darker, more introspective autobiographical songs. Nonetheless, Zora’s music is a reflection of her determination to transcend adversity, as well as to leave the listener with sounds that know no limits or boundaries.

Hungarian by birth, American by circumstance, Zora’s inspiration for music has been shaped by hardships she experienced early in life. At the age of three she was separated from her father after he fled Communist Hungary in hopes of finding a better life in America. This was followed by the sudden and tragic death of her mother. In turn, at the age of eight, Zora was forced to pack up her life in Hungary to reconnect with her father living overseas in America.

Zora’s move to the U.S. was bittersweet. While it opened doors to an exciting world of new possibilities, it also left her conflicted and isolated. As first-generation immigrants, securing stable work was seldom easy, and the family often moved from state to state in order to put food on the table. By the time she graduated high school Zora had attended more than twenty different districts throughout the country. Growing up amongst kids who didn’t embrace her cultural differences, Zora also found herself being ostracized by her peers. It was during this time of instability that Zora turned to music for escape. In her bedroom, sequestered from the turmoil that ransacked seemingly every moment of her life, Zora exercised the one joy in her life that had not been stripped from her. She sang. Her gift, her passion, was her voice, a voice she came to find could channel anguish and make the world outside her bedroom fade.

Zora’s vocal abilities were recognized early on. In Budapest, she sang for a televised commercial at the age of six, and at the age of sixteen, successfully auditioned for a national singing competition. Zora found solace in singing, even at a young age. Inspired by her favorite artist at the time, Jewel, she started writing songs at the age of thirteen, when she stumbled upon an acoustic guitar thrown out by a neighbor. As the years progressed, Zora participated in numerous talent shows, “open mics” and chamber choir performances in New York and Ohio. Zora’s introduction into the professional music world was preceded by her education however, as she embraced the stability of a college education with the intention of becoming a Doctor. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and was accepted into Medical School. But it was here that Zora understood that her passion for music could not be suppressed. The exactness of science compounded with an atmosphere of the sick and the dying thrust Zora back into the arena of composition. With no room for creativity in Medical School as well as her increasing frustration with the corrupt medical establishment that exists today, she finally decided to once and for all end the internal conflict that had been playing in her head since the beginning. Zora dropped out of school to face her next big challenge in life: Pursuing her dream of making it in the music industry. Having faced mortality both inside and outside of the classroom has given her a fearless edge, which is why giving up financial stability and security does not scare her.

As she puts it. “What would be more daunting is looking back when I’m old, knowing that I did not take the chance to pursue the one thing that truly makes me happy. Cutting into human flesh gives you insight and a new perspective on life. For me, it was the realization that I would rather die than to confine that free, creative spirit and voice that’s been itching to come out for so long. I suppose I’m a bit eccentric, but I’ve come to terms with that. I simply cannot and will no longer fight that uninhibited, spontaneous, ‘bohemian’ blood that flows inside of my veins.”

From classical to electronic, Zora has had a wide range of influences, which over time have evolved considerably. She grew up listening & singing to pop albums by Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion; then over the years developed an appreciation for the unique sounds of Tori Amos, Björk, and Massive Attack. Growing up in the cities of Budapest and New York, Zora was also heavily immersed in the culture of each city; attending piano concertos, operas and musical theater productions, early on.

Recently, Zora’s collaborations with European producers have gained her an appreciation for electronic music, including trance, progressive house, and dance music.

In October of 2010, Zora released her self-produced debut EP, “Cognitive Dissonance.” She produced, wrote and recorded the songs in about a month, just before starting Medical School. Now that schooling is behind her, Zora is currently working on her first Electronica album with producer Paul Rayner. The album will encompass elements of electronic music (fusion of DubStep/Dark Electro/Club beats) and is set for release in November, 2011!

A self-taught pianist, Zora is also quickly gaining recognition on YouTube for her soulful renditions of popular songs.

Having lived all over the world, from Budapest – to the Caribbean islands – to Los Angeles; Zora draws inspiration for her songs from her abundance of travels and life experiences. Change is in her blood, so living the lifestyle of a vagabond entertainer seems to fit her thirst for the new & exciting adventures that await her…

The origins of my guitar playing began at age 10 with private classical guitar lessons in the West Sussex region of the U.K. where I grew up.
My playing continued with the natural progression to electric and steel string acoustic guitar, but I soon returned to the softer sound of nylon strings and the rich timeless repertoire of classical guitar.
My serious pursuit of playing classical guitar took a back seat to other interests in my twenties.
Later, while living in the Caribbean, I resumed my passion for classical guitar.
I lived in the British Vigin Islands where I was able to pursue my playing and to teach guitar and music theory at the local college.
I was also fortunate to be offered the opportunity to perform classical guitar at some of the finest exclusive resorts in the region, including Peter Island, Necker Island and others on Virgin Gorda and Tortolla.
I have since relocated to the U.S. and live in New England where I continue my study of classical guitar technique and it's repertoire.

Magazine Gap is an eclectic pop/rock band from London and probably one of the most exciting emerging British acts. It perhaps works so well because it shouldn't work at all: take the folk-rock musings and pop sensibilities of acclaimed singer-songwriter James Keen, the R&B/Hip-Hop leanings of drumming sensation and producer Brian McCook, add in the technical prowess of funk-rock bassist (and 7-string specialist) Tim Gyton with classically-trained concert pianist and jazz maestro Alex Ho for one of the most powerful and compelling combinations on the music scene today. The band's logo reflects that myriad collection of styles.

Magazine Gap officially formed in 2009 and decided to adopt an independent strategy of taking an old school approach with a modern twist. Wanting to make a classic and timeless album, they would ‘road-test' their songs directly to a broad audience by touring across the US and around the UK, and they would track in some of the leading recording studios in the world. At the same time, the band fully embraced social networks, developing a true global following from right around the world.

Magazine Gap has already undertaken two tours of the United States, including playing the four largest cities (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago & Houston – also the most populous in each of America's four geographic regions). They have just completed their first headline tour of the UK, which took in all parts of the country with dates in clubs and theaters in London, Norwich, Cardiff, Oxford, Exeter, Liverpool, Glasgow, Brighton, Newcastle, Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Bristol, as well as making their debut in Ireland with a show in Dublin.

The sound of Magazine Gap developed organically over several years, through a shared vision of creating something fresh from a cocktail of different flavors. It began with the recording of James Keen's acclaimed debut album "No Coincidence", which featured Brian and Tim, and evolved through live performances which brought in Alex Ho. The powerful, collective sound of the four members led inescapably to the formation of the band.

The album represents a journey, literally as well as musically and lyrically. "Light & Shade" was recorded over an 18-month period in major recording studios in London, New York, Chicago, Houston, New Orleans and Los Angeles; these included Avatar in Manhattan, Capitol in Hollywood, Firehouse in Pasadena, CRC in Chicago, Piety Street in New Orleans, and Metropolis in London. The album includes James' brother Jason Keen on lead guitar and additional musicians from London's leading session community to record strings, brass, percussion and pedal steel guitar. The album is enriched by the various colors brought by different recording environments, engineers and guest musicians.

Musically, the band comfortably cross a broad range of musical genres whilst keeping within a consistent and clear overall sound, thereby challenging and delighting a diverse audience. Lyrically, the theme is one of life's ups and downs, good times and bad, wins and losses, the past and the future.

Elijah Wood is the 15 year old son of world-renowned electric violinist Mark Wood and vocalist Laura Kaye and has been the drummer in The Mark Wood Experience since 2006.

He tours regularly with Electrify Your Strings!™, a revolutionary series of music education programs developed by Mark Wood, and has performed in front of thousands of people in a wide variety of performance settings over the years. Close to 40,000 orchestra, band, and choir students participated in Electrify Your Strings!™ in the 2009-2010 school year alone.

Elijah has performed at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA for 4 consecutive years with The Mark Wood Rock Orchestra, whose performances on the main stage in the convention center lobby consistently draw a capacity crowd. He also performs at a variety of different booths at the convention.

Elijah was the drummer for the historic first-ever Mark Wood Rock Orchestra Camp in Kansas City, and has been featured on a segment of NBC's "The Today Show."

Elijah studies with several prominent drummers, most notably his mentor Jeff Plate (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Savatage, Metal Church, Machines of Grace); and John Macaluso (ARK, TNT, Yngvie Malmsteen).

In 2008, Elijah was the winner of Drumfight, a major NY area drum competition; thoroughly impressing the judges who included legendary drummer Carmine Appice, with whom he was personally invited to jam at the 2010 NAMM Show.

Elijah is a featured drummer on many of Mark Wood's music scores, including the CBS-TV national broadcast of the Tour de France. He is currently collaborating with Mark on material for his upcoming CD.

Just this year, he joined the group Coldest Fall, a well known alternative rock band. They are now working on an upcoming album, "Lines We Drew," that is set to be released in the next few months. The rest of the band members are located in Turkey and, despite the distance, Elijah and Coldest Fall can easily exchange ideas via the internet (real time) to create unique drum sounds.

While Elijah performs with many notable musicians, he also is working on his solo career and will be releasing an album in late 2011 on which he will be playing guitar and drums. As well as managing production.

While his instrument of choice is drums, he also sings, plays piano, and guitar.

Dorian Lamotte

Born in 1985, Dorian Lamotte began learning the violin at age 4. After being formally rewarded with a Diploma of Musical Studies summa cum laude and a year of postgraduate study at the Conservatoire National de Region Boulogne-Billancourt, he attended the master classes of legendary violinists Olivier Charlier, Jacques Ghestem, and especially Ivry Gitlis.

An eclectic musician, he taught for a year in a conservatory in Paris, working with various orchestras (Opera de Marseille, Concerts Lamoureux...), he studied viola and conducting, then created in Paris the Festival Envolées Musicales, intended to be a springboard for young professionals of the music world whether they are performers, composers, audio engineers or luthiers.

In 2005 he joined the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Limoges and in 2007 the Philharmonic Orchestra of Santiago in Chile, all the while still teaching violin during seasonal academies or master class sessions. Always enthusiastic about new music he has created sixteen opuses as conductor and three as soloist, including Dimitri Tchesnokov’s Partita and Maxence Grimbert-Barré’s Double Concerto, both dedicated to him.

Back in France, in June 2008, he joined the internationally renowned Quatuor Debussy, in which he performed in prestigious venues around the world (Wigmore Hall in London, Library of Congress in Washington DC, Moscow Conservatory, Philharmonia of Novossibirsk , Chaillot Theatre in Paris ...). In company with this prestigious ensemble he meets new audiences and builds up artistic gateways (creation of two shows featuring dance, performances at hospitals, prisons, schools ...), he develops his passion for teaching at academies and master classes (Seattle Cornish College, Conservatory of Rennes, session Debussy at the Festival de l’Epau ...), and he releases two records respectively for Universal and Decca Timpani.

The argentine artist began his music career at an early age. His tutors being Domingo Scarafia, Héctor Rivera, José Kaplan and Aldo Antognazzi. By the end of the seventies, enjoying a fully grown career, he meets the famous musicologist and pianist Amadeo Mainero –nephew to legendary Walter Gieseking. Professor Mainero agrees to influence the artist’s pianist formation and focuses on him more interpretively, technically and philosophically following Karl Leimer’s standard.

A relationship of hard work, trustworthiness, submission and full devotion that lasted six years, ended up in victory, crowned with the realization of an artist endowed with unique characteristics, utterly different, specialized in issues related to performance, pedagogy, and humanity. He acquired musical knowledge in general under the guardianship of Belgian Musicologist Dr Edgard Willems.

During his career he focused on music performance and teaching. In 2006 the CIHCE (Spanish / Latin-American Council of Educational Quality) distinguished him with the title Doctor Honoris Causa in music philosophy, ceremony that took place in the Hilton Hotel, in September of the same year, in Buenos Aires.

Moreover, in 1988 he was awarded the "First International Prize Ludwing Van Beethoven” by the “Austausches der Deutschen Kultur Ludwing V. Beethoven”, Germany. In 1987 he received the award “A. Cunill Cabanellas”, granted by the Cabanellas Foundation, aimed at developing science and the arts in the Argentine Republic.

The Roman Catholic Church also honored him with the award “San José de Plata” in 1986, honoring his work in education and the arts; ceremony where Nobel Prize Federico Leloir was distinguished in science, and world champion Alberto Demidi, in sports.

In the course of his artistic career, he visited the most important international theaters. A teacher and researcher, he created the Higher Education Career on Music and the corresponding degree, with official support. Furthermore, he worked on the creation of vast didactic material.

His hard labor and a long standing career made him worth of recognition and congratulations from members of the government , church ministers and the community as a whole.

In 2007, a senior teacher - with more than 39 years in the activity- having achieved local renown he resumes his gift for music -as an artist, going back to the stage, from where he has absented for years, having devoted to research and teaching.

Getting ready for his “Touring the Americas 2008”, Miguel Angel plans to visit the main cities in Latin America, Central America and North America, along with a program of concerts that include the classics of all times: Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin. He is currently presenting the premiere and recording of a DVD live in a concert to take place in “Teatro Broadway”, in Rosario city -his birthplace- within the framework of the celebrations for the “Week of Rosario”.

The story is familiar: Young boy get’s guitar, gets totally addicted to music, practices ten hours a day on the style of his choice, gets incredible good and breaks into the music industry with a bullet in his early twenties.

That is not the story of Morten Faerestrand.

Though there are similarities, most importantly in the uncompromising dedication during his younger years, while most players take the high way to get where they want fast, Morten definitely took the scenic route.

During the 17 years he has been playing professionally, the musical detours he has taken on his way home are countless, not always even including him playing the guitar. He has been writing and producing top 40 style pop, Hip Hop, R&B, soft jazz and metal, been playing in theater and musical shows, gone on tour with funny hats and costumes to entertain children, been part of songwriting teams, played in pubs, played in concert halls (with and without symphonic orchestras), played a LOT in jazz duos with virtuoso singers, done heavy metal tributes to Madonna, produced soft jazz versions of Guns’n’Roses songs, thought guitar in universities and on oil rigs, played on records with both Norwegian Idol winners and legends with 30 year long careers, and last but not least – worked as an aerobics instructor and strength training coach (spawning an interest in, ahem, German techno.)

Always eager to create
Morten started programming sequencers long before the luxury of having them on computers. Hundreds of songs were created on Roland D-20, Ensoniq workstations, Alesis drum machines and Fostex porta-studios. In short, any possibility to create music was explored, any style of music were interesting.

Eclectic by nature
It is not likely that Morten will ever land in one particular style of music, but as a guitarist it seems like in some way he has come home. Having spent the last few years consciously putting the experience from all his musical tours and detours in the melting pot, he has created a unique voice on the guitar. His sound, his way to phrase and the melodic content in his improvisations are instantly recognizable, and you get the feeling that this is a musician with a story to tell. A musician not mimicking any of the icons, but with a fresh approach to the concept of modern jazz guitar.

Having taken the long way home, Morten is well rounded, but hungrier than ever, ready to share his music with the world.

There is not a blueprint for writing music. In fact, one of the great things about music is that you can do anything you want. But the difference between music and really great music is how it affects the people who are listening to it.

As a musician I have always tried to write my music in a way that people can relate to it, and come back to it time after time when they need to relate again. I think that music should move you, not saying you need to get up and start dancing but instead just making you see things about your life you might not have seen before. I started doing music as a way to deal with my life and now it has become a way that other people can deal with theirs.

To me... that's all that matters

Gisle Torvik

Gisle Torvik was born June 2, 1975. He grew up in Tørvikbygd in Hardanger, Norway.

In the spring of 1992, he found an old Hoefner guitar up in the attic. A bit of plastic became a pick, and Gisle decided to become a solo-guitarist. His father told him to learn some chords, but Gisle only wanted to play solos in Knopflers spirit and therefore refused to play chords. After figuring out his fathers advice of learning the harmonics was a good idea, he learned the strings and chords.

After only 6 months Torvik found himself on stage with his guitar in front of 300 people. He had practiced every spare moment, but his fingers still shook. Luckily, with the help of a great audience, the young guitarist came out from his performance with a desire for more. The band kept playing in local arenas throughout the next years.

In 1994 Gisle started studying music at Sunnhordaland folkehøyskole. It was here he decided that he would become a professional guitarist. The year after he started a three-year education at Nordic Institute of Stage and Studio, majoring in guitar and composition.

After playing in some bands, his first solo album with his own band was released in 1999. Sigmund Groven, Petter Wettre, Frode Berg, Endre Christiansen and Torstein Lofthus contributed to “Naked without a Guitar” becoming a reality.

Torvik works as a guitarist, producer, arranger and composer. He also teaches guitar, harmony, arranging, composing, music production and music theory in different schools, besides being a guest instructor and conducting a big band.

The album «frozen moment» was released in 2009 to good reviews. This was his first album combining vocals and guitar as lead «voices». In March 2011 his song «I remember» reached the semi-final of ISC International Songwriting Competition.

Torvik is first and foremost a jazz guitarist, but likes to play all types of music.

DJ Gi nasce artisticamente nel 2008 in Second Life (il famoso virtual world 3D). Dopo varie esperienze in streaming, il 10 Marzo 2010 decide di aprire una fan page ufficiale su Facebook dove comincia a guadagnarsi i suoi primi sostenitori. Sølvin Refvik is a Norwegian guitar teacher and author of several music books.

When not busy teaching guitar and making music books (info: spilletrille.no), I play my guitars and write music in different moods inspired by nature (as in the titles Wind, Waves (check out Waves on YouTube), Breez and Falling Rain), people (Mirabella), and other impressions. Having also played a lot of the standard repertoire for classical guitar, my 'alibi' here on MySpace is the Fuge In C, written by J.S. Bach and Lagrima written by Francisco Tarrega.

The music is played on a Godin Multiac Classical guitar (with L.R. Braggs pickup system). Nails are prepared with Maybelline Salon Manicure and Mikra P 1200 emery paper. :) Like This and Horizon are played on a Taylor 414-CE steel string guitar.

I hope you will have as much fun listening to the music as I have had writing and playing these songs.

At the young age of 21, Dominic Camany brought enthusiasm and life in his 2006 debut offering of "Lullaby", a collection of original songs that feature his sincere and soulful voice. Often compared to other notables like The Fray, Ryan Cabrera, and Switchfoot, Dominic's music is best described as honest and from the heart. "I have a deep drive and aspiration to let everyone in the world hear my music and message."

Dominic's musical journey started when he picked up the guitar at the age of 12, teaching himself through careful imitation of his favorite artists. While being raised by a single mother, Dominic developed an unique sound, and a way to capture life's ups and downs with lyrics that express life in broad, warm strokes. After spending time recording his "Lullaby" album in Nashville, it was obvious that his dreams were no mistake.

"Making his mark" with his new, self-mixed, and mastered album "Lost and Found," Dominic hopes to inspire listeners to see beyond the music and sense something greater. If you listen closely to his lyrics, you will find that there is always more that what meets the eye. The journey that you will hear throughout "Lost and Found" is an expression of Dominic's search for a love that is real and a love that is unchanging. After a seemingly endless search, he believes he has now found that very thing. "I want to communicate to my listeners the struggles that I have been through but more importantly, share with them the hope that I have found."

Learning the guitar at such a young age started the ripple effect of Dominic's drive and passion for music. By the age of 17, he learned to play the drums, bass, and piano. Dominic put his first band together at the age of 15 and attended New Life Music College, Colorado Springs in 2005. Dominic has his own recording studio, where he often records other bands or solo artists. Dominic has toured in many nationwide and worldwide tours including Spirit West Coast (Monterey, CA), Blitz Tour (Central Coast, CA), Desperation Tour( Midwestern States) as well as tours through India, Ukraine and Mexico. In September of 2007, Dominic was voted the WORD RECORD'S ARTIST OVATION WINNER OF CALIFORNIA. in the little downtime he has, Dominic also teaches guitar, drums, bass, piano, and vocals. Dominic takes every opportunity to play local shows up and down the coast of California and hopes to take his music all over the country over this next year.

Al Marconi first picked up a guitar at the awkward age of 13 after being inspired as a child by his fathers collection of Shadows LP’s. It wasn’t long however before he developed a taste for the heavier side of guitar music such as the likes of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Rainbow and very soon these were dominating his own record collection. As a teenager he went on to learn many of the great iconic riffs from the classic rock era and to hone his electric guitar playing skills with the hope that one day he would become the quintessential rock guitar Demi-God......oh well!

It was whilst at art college in the late eighties that Al discovered the Baroque lute music of J S Bach where a love affair with the nylon strung guitar was born. This heralded a complete change of musical direction and for the next few years Al was to study his chosen instrument under his own esteem and with no formal musical education or tuition he was soon able to get the mastery of some of the more technically demanding exercises within the popular classical repertoire.

However, it wasn't long before Al found himself becoming jaded and frustrated with the methodical and somewhat mechanical nature of much of the standard classical repertoire that restricted him from displaying the more passionate and fiery side of his musical temperament.

Then one evening Al shared the stage with a guitar duo who were performing, among other things some cover versions of the Gipsy Kings.

From the instant he heard the rumba flamenco style Al was hooked. He immediately saw that this would be the perfect vehicle for him to explore the more aggressive and dynamic side of his playing. In the years that followed Al set about writing and recording his own original music in the rumba flamenco style which on his 1997 debut album ‘equilibrium’ he fused with a more traditional classical approach that, at the time, he was reluctant to let go of.

Following the relative success of ‘Equilibrium’ Al made the decision to concentrate on developing his creative and compositional skills recording only works of his own originality. The results of which were ‘Monument’ in 1999, ‘Esperanto’ in 2001 and ‘Terra Nova’ in 2007. Over the years the development of modern technology and innovative software has allowed Al to explore new sounds and textures and to bring a more colourful and exotic sound palette into the equation resulting in world fusion influenced orientation.

Al has gone on to become one of the UK’s top selling independent instrumental guitarists selling his recordings all over the world and he has performed from his home territory in the South West of England to as far a field as Peru and Mexico

Dario Pinelli è considerato uno dei maggiori chitarristi di swing al mondo.

Salentino di origini, comincia da piccolo lo studio della chitarra classica suonando come concertista musica barocca, in seguito, dopo aver vinto la prestigiosa borsa di studio del JMI per gli Stati Uniti, si trasferirà a New York dove comincerà lo studio della chitarra jazz.

Passerà poi al jazz prettamente europeo, che è proprio quello manouche, al quale si dedicherà aggiornandolo e innovandolo con nuove soluzioni armoniche, ritmiche e melodiche.

Il successo ottenuto con il suo Italian Gypsy Jazz Trio lo porterà, nel 2008, ad esibirsi al celebre “Metropolitan” di New York e poi, nel novembre 2009, diventerà il primo europeo ad essersi esibito nello storico “Lunedì di Broadway” presso il mitico “Birdland” di New York.

Sempre nel tour 2009 Dario Pinelli sarà ospite, insieme al suo trio, del grande David Amram, padre della Beat Generation, presso lo storico club “The Village Gate” (Poisson Rouge) nel cuore di Greenwich Village e, di ritorno dal Tour americano, farà tappa a Londra a “Le Quecumbar”, con un concerto per il centenario della nascita di Django Reihardt.

I grandi successi riportati faranno sì che il giornale “The Boston Globe” dedicherà la prima pagina a colori a Dario Pinelli, con un articolo di June Wolfe.

A giugno 2011 uscirà il singolo intitolato “a summer’s dream” con il relativo video.

These tank drums are all handmade by us from unused propane tanks… we began making tank drums in 2007 after stumbling across Dennis Havlena’s page on how to make a propane tank hank drum (thank you Dennis !!) while researching the PanArt Hang… we began experimenting with different designs on various models of steel tanks and discovered what works and what doesn’t… our drums started off looking and sounding like most hank drums or steel tongue drums found on youtube, but we were not quite satisfied with this and began experimenting, collecting and compiling the ideas that would bring us closer to what is now known as a Tankdrum (our version of the “hank drum”)….our unique Tankdrum was born through understanding the acoustics of our medium and pinpointing the base resonant frequency of the raw propane tanks, and deciding which frequency arrangements compliment its vibrations best, our goal being to maximize the constructive interference of the notes to increase volume, sustain, and clarity… this understanding lead us to begin giving our tank drums a maximum heat treatment to temper the steel allowing rich overtones and harmonious atmospheric sounds….this understanding also lead to a center bass pad that serves as the root note of the drum, and acts as a passive speaker and active resonator to the perfectly arranged notes surrounding it…each notes individual placement on the tank, and the placement of the notes that surround it are critical to achieving the beautiful sounds that come from both our single side and our double side Tankdrums…. our team has several breakthrough discoveries in understanding this instrument that has taken it to new heights and has shown the world that the Tankdrum is a real musical instrument and is here to stay…. our Tankdrums come in many tunings and design configurations, we have double-side tank drums as well as mini tank drums…we enjoy making custom tank drums as well, and experimenting to further this beautiful gift of the universe… if you would like us to make you a Tankdrum email me , chase@Tankdrum.com, and we can talk…

Bjørn decided to release some new Nattefrost material or at least some of the old stuff he'd done. 9 tracks were found and re-mastered. Almost ready for an album, but he wanted a brand new track on the album as well, that led to "Tårnets krigere" in October.

January - April 1998

Some new tracks were recorded but never released. One of them was called "Near UFO".

July - December 1997

Bjorn started composing new material for Nattefrost. In December the first CD was released. "Nordboernes solhvervsfest" contains 4 tracks.

April 1997

The 2nd cassette was released. The title was "Storm over Danmarks oldsletter" ("Storm over ancient fields in Denmark")

May 1996

The release of the first ever Nattefrost recordings as the cassette "Når månen er fuld" ("When the moon is full")

October 1995

Bjørn Jeppesen starts Nattefrost. The concept was to make ambient/classical atmospheric themes influenced by the ancient Scandinavia. Nattefrost had another name in the very beginning, "I Nattens Mørke", but Bjørn changed it to Nattefrost just before releasing the first cassette.

Amer Mulalic was born on 17 May 1992 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has lived in Vienna, Austria, since 1994. Already as a four-year-old, he showed a talent for and love of music, and singing in particular, which made him join the Vienna Boys’ Choir’s entry school, and later the Musikgymnasium. Before his voice broke, he attended the opera school at the Vienna Opera, where he was not only a member of the choir but also sang solo parts in a number of operas.

He started to train as a solo singer when he was 15 years old. Already at the age of 16 he passed the relevant qualifying examination and enrolled for preparatory vocal studies at the Vienna University of Music. In 2009, he was the youngest student admitted to the Konservatorium Wien University, where he has since trained to become a solo singer (BA).

Amer Mulalic is not only highly interested in classical music but also loves other musical genres, in which he has developed a unique style of interpretation.

The band has formed in January 2009 after lifelong friends Joff & Ezy met singer Justin on YouTube and decided to write a song together.

Not many people realise - but we are an internet collaboration - we haven't actually sat down in a room and created any of our songs together....maybe in some small way this is what is giving us the creativity - each song has each of our creative elements on it - our own interpretation of what we think the track should sound like without interference from each other...hopefully if this all takes off we actually will get to sit down and write together in a room - presently we are countries apart.
